Hand carved from Western Australian Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) renowned for its versatility, its durability and strength and rich array of deep reds golds and browns.

 

Her lively crown of tousled curls are crafted in copper and treated to create the wonderful shades of cool greens of verdigris.

 

Hand carved with highly smoothed and sensual polished finishes. The rhythmic curves in this piece are a delight.

 

The wood itself is hundreds of years old, grown in the ancient endemic Jarrah forests and found in its naturally seasoned state on the forest floor.
